Under the Milkwoods is situated In a quiet part of Port Alfred, within walking distance of our blue flag Kelly beach, golf course, Kowie River and town centre. The space can be rented out as a double room for a travelling couple or take the twin room as a family unit which then includes double and twin accommodation. My home has an inverter so my lights are never off and I also provide a most enjoyable light breakfast on the veranda each morning.

Bird’s Haven Guesthouse - Hunters Lodge

Fully self catering family cottage with 2 King beds, 2 bathrooms, lounge and functional kitchen with its own private entrance. Notice traces of this 130+ year old historic cottage which was built in 1894. Equipped for self catering.

Your artist hostess designed and furnished the cottage so expect quality yet quirky, uncluttered decor. The cottage is very spacious, comfortable and light and overlooks a large organic garden. With its own access and safe off-street parking your privacy is guaranteed. Recently added free Wi-Fi, and a solar system with back up gas geyser which means I don't depend on the national grid for power.

It is a mid-19th century character home furnished with many lovely antiques and is within walking distance of private schools (15 mins.) and the city centre (10 mins.).
