Vintage Caravan, Rainforest & Lyrebirds

Our 1959-vintage caravan is just 12ft long, best for a couple or two friends. At a pinch, two children could sleep in the king single bed; see the photos and description further down. Wake up to the sounds of Lyrebirds, enjoy a private walk in our rainforest gully and stroll around the garden, one of the best private gardens in the Dandenongs. Offering a minimum one-night stay for a quick getaway, or stay longer & enjoy the peace, sit by the fire - made from a beer keg, and roast marshmallows.

Viscount Royal Caravan 1974 On Historic Property

The Viscount Royal Caravan 1974 is a huge (9 metre) & has been rejuvenated. Modern but with a fab 70’s atmosphere. It sits under a huge shed with carport, deck & overlooks farmland & bush. It is 50 metres from our old house. Daylesford is 7 minutes away with excellent cafes, restaurants, shops & well-being indulgences. Wineries & galleries are plentiful within a small radius. The “Swiss Mountain Hotel”, our local, has good food, a nice atmosphere & is only 5 minutes to the west in Blampied.

Luxury Glamping Tent (Adults Only)

These tents sleep 2 adults only. Sorry, no pets or children are allowed in these ultra-luxurious glamping tents. With a large king-size bed and inviting doona, sofa, cosy reading lamps, dining table for two, and a crackling log fire in the main room, you will adore the subdued lighting and romantic atmosphere. Leather straps allow the walls to be completely opened up or closed down as you prefer. The spacious ensuite bathroom has a vanity, bathtub for two, a shower and of course toilet.

Accommodation is in the Bus, lovingly restored to make a comfortable & spacious home away from home. A huge covered deck opens off the bus with a bathroom to the rear of the deck. This unique nature-focused abode, has a relaxed feel, close to Byron town (only 13kms) but far enough away, for a change of pace & a breather in an abundance of beautiful nature. It includes a large deep bath, big enough for 2 (under cover) on a deck with a beautiful nature view & a relaxing semi-outdoor living area with the van used as the bedroom with A/C. Enjoy the solitude the hinterlands offers, with wide open fresh air without seeing anyone but the kangaroos, koalas & birds.
