Enjoy elevated camping at our family-run, organic farm, Granja Urkuwayku on the Ilaló Volcano. We have two tents available (Cotopaxi and Pasochoa), each with a spectacular view. Located 50 meters from your tent, awaits a furnished kitchen and your own bathroom with shower. We provide breakfast, including farm-fresh yogurt, granola, eggs, bread, juice, and coffee. Prepare your own lunch and dinner. Hundreds of kms of hiking and biking trails surround, including hot springs just minutes away.

Hacienda Chan Chan - 树屋

Hacienda Chan Chan is nestled in the mountains high above Cuenca. The TreeHouse is even higher up, possibly the world's highest (elevation) tree house. It is remote and secluded, the ideal get away for adventurous travelers. We now offer guests a ride up to the treehouse on horseback when they arrive (or car). Guests will need to coordinate with us to arrange a time. Check in needs to be before 5h30 pm. It is difficult to get to the treehouse after it is dark.

It is a cozy retreat nestled between the Andes Mountains of Mama Cotacachi and Taita Imbabura with expansive organic vegetable gardens that our guests are welcome to enjoy. One way or roundtrip car service from Quito for additonal fee. No pets allowed.
