Less than 4 miles from the beach & 1 mile from the boat landing and hiking/bike trails, this is the place to unplug & reconnect with family & friends. 4 bedroom, 3 bath coastal cottage in gated resort community, just a few blocks to the ocean. This cottage is tucked among mature coastal foliage at the end of a private cul-de-sac. Low country rocking porch on entrance, screen porch and two sundecks on rear that are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the wildlife and foliage. Secluded, Spacious Edisto Beach Walk Home "Chaika"

The Chaika is a lovely house on a secluded lot at the end of a street with no other house adjacent and no thru traffic. Beautiful live oak in front gives a nice view out the glassed-in porch. Only a short 5-minute walk to the beach on a rarely-used sandy drive. 5-minute drive to St. Helena sound for calmer waters and great beach combing. Chaika means "seagull" in Russian - read the owner bio for info on why that name. A great house for families and friends to connect! And we are pet friendly.

The short sandy beach path is right out the front door. The home has ocean views and peaks of the river to the rear. View both sunrises and sunsets on this end of island. 9 blocks from the vibrant , eclectic center of town is where you'll find local cafes, restaurants, stores, bars and the pier.
