The Conductors' Cottage is a converted railway house that offers beautifully furnished accommodation for up to six guests. Set in the grounds of the main farmhouse, there are three cottages in total. The Conductor's Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge & outside deck area to enjoy. There are views of the hills of Mpumalanga Province as you sit on the verandah. We are a working farm with resident sheep, geese & pigs. We also have four boxer dogs that are part of the family

The wide stoep looks into a lush, mostly indigenous subtropical garden. The nearby irrigation canal provides a peaceful backdrop of sound as the water gurgles past. Everything on the property, from the food we grow to how we live, work and generate electricity is based on being environmentally sustainable. We are completely off-grid, no power or water cuts!

This is a self catering, fully airconditioned house, let as a unit, you will need to bring everything in the way of food and toiletries with you (towels and bedding are provided). We have an inverter system, to enable lighting, during load shedding. There are 2 stores, the Bush Center and Marlothi Shopping center, with fuel. Holingsberg River Cottage is an exclusive Self Catering River Fly Fishing and Horse Trail destination for the serious Fly Fisher and Trail rider. The chalet is upmarket and private, and situated on a working farm yard. The kids are welcome to interact and learn about the farm animals. The fly fisher has 1.5km of river front. Enjoy the splendid view from the patio while preparing dinner, relaxing around a fire, and discuss the catch or trail ride of the day. The cottage has solar back-up.
