Treetops at Warburton truly is a magical place. Our 3 bedroom plus studio (4th bedroom option on request ) is nestled high in the ferns with daily visits from cockatoos,kookaburras plus more. Upton Hill Cottage is self-catering farm-stay accommodation 16km into the Strathbogie Ranges from Avenel. It is surrounded by vineyards, cherry orchards, farmland & replanted & remnant bush. At 475m ASL the cottage has panoramic views of the ranges & Goulburn Valley. Guests can meet the animals, ramble, birdwatch, cycle, observe native flora & fauna, fish, do scenic tours, marvel at the ancient granite formations of the unique Strathbogie batholith, & enjoy local wineries, music & restaurants.

We are only 2 minutes walk to the Great Victorian Rail Trail with no major roads to cross, so its a great stop over for bike riders. We are approximately 45 minutes to the base of Mount Bulla and 5 minutes walk to Lake Eildon. 15 minute walk along rail trail or 3 minute drive gets you to the hotel that has meals every day. The apartment has a kitchenette that includes a Microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, coffee machine, hotplate, all cutlery, Airfryer crockery etc.. BBQ and Pizza.

We are a dog friendly host (unfortunately we have decided to not host cats) We are perfectly situated between Mansfield and Benalla. Mountainbiking and bushwalking, right at the doorstep or explore the wider area. 2km from Lake Nillahcootie. 50min from the base of Mt Buller. Benalla and Winton Raceway are 25 and 30mins away.
