The private front deck is the perfect spot for a sunset cocktail after a day of swimming and kayaking from the sandy beach. A newly renovated two bedroom cottage in the grounds of Killua Castle, described as the most romantic demesne in Ireland. You can enjoy lovely walks through our regenerative grounds Your stay gives you a discounted rate of €50 per group (normally €50 per person) tour of Killua Castle subject to availability. The 2026 vegetable garden has been planted! New for 2026: Kitchen Aid stand mixer, new towels, frying pans. Cupcake Cottage has had a total renovation: the same light, charm, and views remain but inside there is a new kitchen, flooring, and heating system. And outside, a new deck and porch configuration, windows, siding, roof and dormers. The house is an 1838 barn with old beams and rafters, and modern finishes of hemlock, red oak, and western red cedar throughout.
