The cottage offers two bedrooms (one king, one queen) and one bath with an open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen, W/D, front and back covered porches, and don't forget the animals! We have mini Highland and High Park cattle, a horse, friendly barn cats, and spacious natural surroundings. There is also a walking trail along the woods, and a beautiful pond. Dogs welcome too!

There are several local attractions we are 6 miles from Makers Mark, 11 miles to Log Still, 3 miles from the XB Arena (Saturday nights Nov-March), and 13 miles to Historic Bardstown to include Heaven Hill. It may be a much needed romantic weekend, a mid- way point as you tour the bourbon trail, visiting Lincoln's childhood home or just a place of your own while in town to visit family, no matter what brings you to our cottage- you will love it here.

For the ones who serve

We decorated and dedicated this place in honor of my father who served in WW2 as a Marine. He passed March of 2020. We have all type of military things along with other unique pieces. We plan on always coming up with more things to change it around. This is a part of a duplex which sits on the property with our wedding venue. This subdivision is near Joe Prather for quick access to I-65, as well as a main route (w/out toll) into Indiana, and less than 10 minutes to Fort Knox. I have security cameras monitoring the entrances (front and back) to this property!
