Guest House Overlooking Jasper Lake

Your Retreat into Northern Hospitality! The Guest House is a handcrafted cabin located in the wooded countryside of the Superior National Forest. The cozy cabin, on a bluff overlooking Jasper Lake is about 250 feet from the lake. It is a two bedroom cabin with a lofted open bedroom upstairs. There is a fireplace, a full bathroom with washer & dryer on the main level and a half bathroom upstairs. There is a full kitchen and a gorgeous dining room with access to a large wrap around porch and deck.

Whether you are coming in and out for a Boundary Waters trip, a weekend getaway with your loved one, working remotely or you'd like to have amenities while doing daytime adventures. Well behaved dogs are welcome. On November 25, 2026 this unit will be changed to a 1 bedroom unit. *Please note it is located upstairs above a business. *Guests must be able to check in on their own.

Our home is a 3 bedroom/2.5 bath, four season lake home with absolutely amazing lake views! This is a 2500 sq ft year-round home with open floor living area and lake views that will take your breath away! There is an electric sauna, an outdoor fire pit & a 3 season porch. Our dog friendly home sits on 12 acres of wooded land and we have 150 feet of rocky shoreline across the road. We are a 10 minute drive from downtown Ely on Shagawa lake.
