Listen to Loons calling each other in mornings & evenings. We are located at the tip of Michigan’s lower peninsula: 6 miles to Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Bridge & ferry boats to Mackinaw Island. 2 miles to Northwestern State Trail. During your stay enjoy free use of kayaks, paddle boat & board, swing and fire pit (with free firewood) at waters edge.

Relax with the whole family in this luxury cabin surrounded by 10 private wooded acres. Walk or bike to Wilderness Park trails through the little-known southern entrance. Access Lake Michigan via a boat launch 5 miles north or sunset beaches 8 miles west. Sleeps 6 with two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. Complete kitchen and laundry. Short drive to Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands. 15 minutes to the Bridge, Mac City and Mac Island Ferry. Note that the living space is up a flight of stairs. No TV or AC.

Enjoy the beautiful setting at the Balsams. Our unique, rustic log cabins are fully furnished with all the modern amenities. We have a private Lake Michigan beach (across Hwy 2) and several hiking trails on our 40 acres. Relax and enjoy your own fire pit and cook in your own fully equipped kitchen. We are 5 minutes from stores, Mackinac Island ferries, and restaurants. We are close to all UP attractions and yet you will feel like you are in another world of peace and tranquility.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

Our incredibly special rustic vacation cottage is directly on the beautiful Lake Charlevoix, with a private beach and dock. We only rent for part of the season and hope that your families can create wonderful memories here too. For over 100 years our family has been coming here, and there are other family cabins along the lake. Enjoy non-stop swimming, lake activities, falling asleep to the sounds of the waves, dinners outside, walks along the beach and more.

Disconnect at our Ski Chalet in Nubs Nob

Newly remodeled A Frame Cabin in the woods of Hidden Hamlet in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Located in the little neighborhood at the base of Nubs Nob Ski Resort, this is a peaceful and quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful trees. Currently we are renting this as an open bedroom loft with a queen bed. There is also a pull out sofa sleeper on the main floor, but you know the comfort level of those... Nestled in the woods, this cabin takes you back in time. Enjoy time being with family in the woods or walk across the street to enjoy our private beach. Take a hike on some of our trails or play in the creek that meanders through the property. Families love ending the day with a fire or watching one of our many old school VHS tapes. It's a great reminder of the important things in life: spending quality time with family.
