The Little House ~ Near Mackinac Island

This quaint country house is perfectly located between Mackinaw City and Harbor Springs, offering a peaceful Northern Michigan getaway just a short drive from Mackinac Island. The cozy home features two sleeping areas, a private bedroom and a charming loft. Guests can explore our unique vintage salvage gallery, enjoy friendly farm animals including chickens, goats, and rabbits, and wander scenic walking paths. With an abundance of birds and butterflies, it’s a relaxing up-north nature retreat.

Lake Street Retreat - In town Harbor Springs

This Lake Street apartment is a one of a kind. The apartment is partially above commercial businesses, including your host, The Harbor Barber (no chemical services offered - so no funky odors from below). This space was 100% improved in 2021. The property is a short walk/bike-ride from the bike path, and iconic downtown Harbor Springs, the Lyric theatre, a dog beach, a bathing beach and so much more. Your host freely shares his knowledge of the history and current events happening around town.

Hidden Acres- Austur Cabin- Close to town- Hot Tub

Enjoy the modern, 2-bed, 2-bath Austur cabin! Ideal for family and friends, this stylish retreat offers luxe comforts with rustic charm and can be rented with an identical cabin next door. Serene bedrooms and small sleeping lofts with soft linens and plush pillows, a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living area, large covered porch, a fire pit by the woods, and an EV charger. Minutes from downtown Petoskey and all it has to offer, but in a peaceful and quiet setting! No annoying checkout list!

Riverfront cottage 1-mile nature walk to downtown

A unique old-school cottage located right on the Bear River and Petoskey's newly developed Bear River park and trail. A one-mile meandering walk, over the river and through the woods will take you to downtown Petoskey and Lake Michigan. Along the riverwalk in the opposite direction is a skate park and running track. Also close to shopping plazas and a robust downtown shopping district. The house is dog friendly with a fenced in yard and has three porches to look out over the the river valley.

Private 1200 sq. ft. lower-level suite has a full kitchen, large bedroom area, comfy living area, HD TV, fiber optic WiFi, full bath, and heated floors. Beautiful trails for walking, inland lake, and beaches nearby. Guests use the back entrance and have access to the porch, firepit, and laundry. Close to Lake Michigan, Mackinaw City, Harbor Springs, Tunnel of Trees, Wilderness State Park, Boyne Highlands, Dark Sky, and Pellston airport. Close to Leggs Inn and Moosejaw Junction restaurants.

Gorgeous Getaway! 2 Queens/2 Fold-up twins.

We have played off the beautiful water colors of the bay in our decor. Like our other unit next door, we have included everything we can to make sure our guests are taken care of and feel right at home. We have 2 queen beds and 2 single fold up beds. We do accept pets ($25 flat fee) but certain breeds are not allowed. Please see “other things” for a list. This is a manufactured home in a manufactured home community. The unit has been completely remodeled and is magical! You will love it!

The House Next Door is a vintage-chic modern cottage in the heart of Harbor Springs. Nicely designed throughout, perfect for staying in or to be your home base for endless local activities, many without getting in your car. 8 minute walk to waterfront, restaurants and shopping. Minutes from hiking, biking, beaches. 10 minute drive to ski/golf resorts. A block back from the bluff, close to the hustle of our busy resort town but separated enough for peace and quiet and sounds of nature.

Comfortable pet friendly upper loft located minutes from downtown Harbor Springs (6.6 mi). Notable attractions include: • Nubs Nob (6.4 mi) • Tunnel of Trees (6.7 mi) • The Highlands (7 mi) • Snowmobile trails (0.5 mi) • Easy access to many area mountain bike trails • Petoskey State Park (11.3 mi) • Pellston Airport (14 mi) • Inland Waterway Burt Lake (14.8 mi) • Mackinac Bridge (30 mi) Owner is on site in the main house, but you will enjoy your own private entrance and space.

Cabin on 5 acres located at the end of a quite, paved, dead-end road. Conveniently located 6 miles out of Mackinaw City for easy access to Shopping, Mackinac Island ferries, International Dark Sky Park, Wilderness State Park and Sturgeon Bay Beach. The cabin is very close to The North Country Trail & The North Western State Biking & Snowmobiling Trail. Property includes full access to cabin, fire pit, charcoal grill and yard. Wood fired sauna onsite (Shared with other guests).

Enjoy our beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood, minutes from the shops in Petoskey’s historic gaslight district, Bay Harbor, East Park, Little Traverse Wheelway and Odawa Casino. Enjoy a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage on the deck while catching peeks of the bay through the tree line. While you're relaxing let your pets run and play in the huge fenced-in yard (additional $75 fee for pets applies).
