It offers clean, comfortable accommodation suitable for up to 6 people, in a friendly area only a short drive or walk from the town centre of Enniskillen. There is wifi, private parking and a secure back garden suitable for children and pets. It is an ideal base from which to explore the wide variety of eatery's, cultural and outdoor activities that Fermanagh has to offer (20minute drive to Stairway to Heaven)

Traditional Irish Thatched Cottage

Delightful, listed, 250 year old thatch cottage named after the famous explorer Eduardo-Alfred Martel is famous for charting Marble Arch cave system. Local Folklore claims that Martel resided within this beautiful cottage in 1895 during his Caving adventures. Suitable for walkers, climbers & fishermen. The cottage is heated by oil and lovely range cooker. With an electric fire in the lounge. Please be aware that the cottage does not have WiFi or terrestrial tv, but has a tv and dvds.

My place is close to restaurants and dining, parks, and country walks including the famous stairway to heaven on cuilcagh mountain and Marble Arch Caves . We are 10 miles from Enniskillen for pubs, shops and restaurants. There is a footpath to the local play park and football pitch which is shown on the photos. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness and comfort. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).
