Our guest cabin is nestled in a peaceful wooded acreage in Nanoose Bay, Vancouver Island. The entire cabin is for your exclusive use. To keep the cabin allergen free, WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS. Our home is at the back of the 5 acres so we are available if you have any questions. Please note the added fees - AirBnb charges a service charge and occupancy tax but as a courtesy, we do not add cleaning fees. It is our expecttion that all guests make the effort to leave our guest cabin neat and tidy.

The Lazy J - a peaceful farm in a natural setting

Welcome to the Lazy J Ranch. We offer a self-contained walkout basement suite that sleeps four comfortably. The suite has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a bathroom, and a fully fitted kitchen/living room with a sofa-bed. It has its own patio with table, chairs and barbecue, and a view out over the fields and the forest. Nestled on 13 acres, The Lazy J is home to our alpacas, horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Walk down the trail to watch the animals, and relax beside the creek.

New stand alone, 1 level bright 2 bedroom nestled in the woods on 5 acres with radiant floor heating on a working farm. Located in the centre of the island we are not far from many local activities. Englishman River Park and the famous Hammerfest trails for bike and hikes. Fast Times amusements is just 10 min away with fun for the whole family. Parksville beach is a short 20 min comute. Cathedral Grove is 30 mins away for a beautiful stroll through the massive standing B.C. trees.

The Vine and the Fig Tree studio

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.

The Cabin is a super funky and laid back home away from home. Walking distance to so many amenities: Public Transit, Gibsons Park Plaza, Sunnycrest Mall, Persephones and all the Restaurants & Storefronts along the 101 Hwy. Stay in a beautiful, safe neighborhood only a ten-minute walk to Rathtrevor Beach trails, amazing beaches, Englishman River, & estuary. Under 5 minute drive to downtown Parksville. Enjoy hotel inspired luxuries (I.e. new high-quality, ultra-comfortable mattresses and bedding), plus a hot tub and BBQ in your private yard. Hosts are on site in a separate suite and are very easy-going, friendly, and will absolutely respect your privacy. Welcome!

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place. This is a great kickoff spot for those looking to explore central, west, and north Vancouver Island. We are a few minutes walk to Sunny Beach Road, a favourite beach spot amongst locals. A cafe, pub, ice cream shop, and many nature trails are all just a short walk away. The cottage is equipped with a queen size bed. A fold out cot is available for a 3rd guest.
