Whether grilling on the lighted deck or sitting in the spacious sunroom, the view of the lake is always right in front of you. Once known for being the location of a small bait store, the property has been transformed into a charming cabin like home with a high perched porch and deck overlooking the water.

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

This private apartment at The Farmhouse is popular and usually booked the entire winter. "The sunlight in this apartment restored my soul." Providence Canyon is a quick drive north. 1.7 miles to downtown Eufaula restaurants and just .2 mile to nearest boat launch mid-lake. The outdoor space has 3 fenced areas for dogs, two gas grills for outdoor cooking, a fire pit, porch for lounging. For boaters, there is a long driveway with plenty of room for truck and boat, includes outdoor electric.

We are less than 2 miles from Lakepointe Marina and other drop ins to the lake. We are minutes from Spring Hill and surrounding areas for all of you that are coming to hunt. 3 miles from the historic town of Eufaula with restaurants and amenities. We are pet friendly! But we do not clean up after your pets.

Bring the whole fam to this charming cabin on the lake for scenic views, water adventures, some of Alabama's best fishing, or simply to explore the historic town of Eufaula. Our home has 3 bedrooms but sleeps up to 10 comfortably. Enjoy the screened in porch or lake front deck after spending your day on the dock. This is more than a vacation rental- this is our family home. We hope you enjoy the rustic and cozy touches our family has added over the years and love it as much as we do!

The interior is filled with locally milled eastern red cedar and reclaimed barn wood. The cabin is convenient to Providence Canyon and Lake Eufaula.
