Ard Lui B&B home from Home

The house build by a Scot in 1895 and named it Ard Lui which is Gaelic meaning a High place of Peace. We moved from Pretoria and found our peace in this beautiful setting. Bulwer is a tiny village in Kzn in the Southern Drakensberg area. We have the Morutswa Forest where birds roam eg the Cape Parrot and Knysna Loerie to mentioned a few. from the Mountain there is paragliding and lovely walks with a breath taking view should you reach the top. Our aim to share and give you the best of Bulwer.

Situated between Durban and Pietermaritzburg. The guesthouse is quiet, simple and peaceful with a beautiful view. You can rent one room or the whole house. You are welcome to use the shared kitchen to cook meals and the lounge and porch are shared. Your room and bathroom are completely private.

If you looking for a home away from home, welcome to Gr8treks. We are a small family on a big farm and do everything ourselves. You can expect to find us out in the gardens on most days. Help is welcome from fellow gardeners who need some green therapy. We do not have refuse services so encourage recycling. Water is also very precious to us so please me mindful not to waste water and electricity. This is my family home and we like our guests to feel as though they are at home too.

The Pastures Entire Guest House

If there is a big group of you looking for a lovely place to stay this is the option for you. Book the Pastures out!!!! A simple country get away close to Eston’s finessed wedding venues. Each room is warm and welcoming with rooms 1,2 and 3 boasting a private en suite bathroom. Room 4 and 5 are in the bee house sharing a bathroom and small kitchen. Each room has the added extra of tea, coffee and rusks supplied. Come and enjoy the peace and quite🐓

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. There are two bedrooms. One double room and one room with two singles. There is a loft upstairs for the kids to sleep. The view of the mountain is beautiful. The kids can run around on the lawn and there is plenty of space for them to play. We have a number of hiking routes as well as an indigenous forest. There are also paragliding flights on offer. No experience required.
