We will meet at 13th century farmhouse . According with the seasons, we will pick part of the ingredients directly from the garden and we will have hands-on cooking class preparing 4 courses . After the class, we enjoy the tour of the cellar and vineyard by the owner Giovanni and finally we sit down to supper with wines chosen to accompany the courses we have just made.
I was born and raised in Sicily where culture and passion for food are part of everyday life. After the Art school, I moved to Florence and I studied Architecture and I met and appreciated the Tuscan culinary tradition. After a decade of work experience in restaurants, and also a decade teaching Italian language food and culture, I decided to put together the two experiences and in 2010 I created "Cook Eat Italian" home cooking experience. My cooking classes are designed just like the ones I would like to find while traveling in other countries: authentic, intimate, educational and fun

Our kitchen is in a 13th century farm located just outside Florence and is very easy to reach by bus from the center of Florence in just 30-35 min. The farm produce wine, oil, fruits and vegetable. Also they have several farm animals. Is a magical place for spend a day out of the classic tourist itinerary and have a very authentic experience learning a real Italian cuisine.
