If you're looking for the perfect photo, this is the trip for you. We'll head out into the valley in the afternoon, allowing for stunning sunset views of the valley's limestone cliffs. We invite you to visit our family farm to learn about how tobacco is harvested and cigars are made. After a leisurely afternoon exploring the valley, we'll watch the sunset and share a traditional Cuban dinner (and a bottle of rum!) with friends and family, followed by a lively game of Dominos. It's a great way to get off the beaten path, get to know some of the locals, and really live like a Cuban for a day. Note: This experience is in Viñales, approximately 180km west of Havana. You can get here by bus or by taxi - both take approximately 2.5 hours of travel time. Send us a message if you need assistance with arranging a taxi from Havana.
Dinner Traditional Cuban Dinner (Rice, Beans, Meat) Vegetarians can be accommodated if notified in advance.
Horses & Gear
Our tour will start in Las Maravillas, a neighborhood on the northern edge of town. We'll hike or ride horses through Viñales National Park and visit El Corazon del Valle (also known as La Cafeteria) to watch the sunset and enjoy a traditional dinner before returning to Las Maravillas for some rum and games.
Best to wear long pants and bring some bottled water in a backpack. Please note that, as a courtesy to our other guests, we will promptly depart at 2:45pm so punctuality is greatly appreciated.
