We'll meet at the dock and jump right into open deck seating, be briefed for safety and then off we go exiting under the famous Rainbow Bridge in La Conner. You'll get a glimpse of the saltwater and the Puget Sound before steering through rocky islands and shallow flats to the mouth of the river and start heading upstream. Along the way we'll navigate through different waterways. You'll see everything from beautiful homes to boathouses and structures that date back more than 100 years, and of course eagles and sea life! A little narration will guide us through the turns and channels. Learn about the history of the Skagit River and the surrounding areas. The tour takes you further up river to where it opens up with views of Mt. Baker and the North Cascade Mountains.
Experience the Skagit River with the fast moving, fast stopping shallow water SJX jet sled. This tunnel-hull design boat can navigate in as little as 4" of water giving you a real up close and personal experience of the river and surrounding wildlife! Join us on tours from La Conner, Washington, up the Skagit River via the North Fork and back. These tours take you 7-8 miles up river toward the North Cascade National Forrest.
We'll meet at 331 N 1st St near the Public Restrooms where there is plenty of parking. The tour leaves from La Conner exiting under the Rainbow Bridge and goes through the saltwater islands and the flats to the Skagit River toward Mt. Vernon.
