Up for a morning run? This is a private running tour exclusively for you (and you can bring 2 more friends or relatives) with a fixed price. We'll explore uncommon points of view of Porto while ticking off that workout of your daily to-do list! I may also meet you outside the Airbnb apartment, or at a convenient nearby location - limited to Porto city's Historic centre area - please understand this is subject to confirmation. Starting time is usually flexible. We'll cover aspects of History and Portuguese culture while running through the city's historic centre, the riversides and other stunning vantage points. We will be crossing Luiz I iron bridge and passing through the Port cellars' district in Gaia. Target distance is 10kms (6.21 miles) but, if necessary, we can adjust distance or pace, depending on you! A few stops are also planned. I always bring along an action camera to document the tour, therefore wether or not to carry a camera/smartphone is your option. I suggest you book this running tour for the first or second day of your stay in Porto, so that you can take full advantage of all information and 'inside tips' on must-see/eat/experience you'll get from me!
I am an experienced ultra trail and marathon runner with a passion for storytelling, a keen interest in history and a long lasting love affair with running! I founded Porto Running Tours out of passion in 2015 because I love meeting enthusiast active people (seasoned or recreational runners), and sharing more than just the obvious tourist attractions of Porto. My role as your entert(r)ainer is to guide and help you discover the best views over Douro river.

Aliados Avenue, Batalha square, Serra do Pilar, Crystal Palace gardens, Port wine cellars district in Gaia, Douro riverfront, some secluded alleyways and a couple other fine viewpoints overlooking Douro river.
