Get ready to experience true Georgian culture in the City of Love and Wine. We will begin by visiting the Bodbe Monastery, where the enlightener of Georgia, St. Nino, is buried. We take a walk along the picturesque street of one of the most beautiful cities of Georgia, Sighnaghi, called the “City of Love”, take a walk along the fortress wall, from where an amazing landscape opens into the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Range The tour will end by meeting a local Georgian family and eating traditional national dishes and drinking local wine. You will take part in their preparation: bake according to the national recipe, learn how to cook the famous churchkhela (traditional sweet) and cook mtsvadi (roast meat) on the coals of the vine. We will taste Georgian traditional white and red wines in the family winery.
