We shall meet on the outcasts of town, where i shall provide transport to Kiambu where the coffee farm is located. About 15Min drive on a good day. And about 45Min drive on days when traffic comes visiting with its relatives. At the farm we shall enjoy seen the whole coffee process, from the picking/ harvesting, drying, roasting and grading. Let me warn you in advance, this place is so beautiful you might refuse to go back home. :) There is a waterfall within the farm that we can relax and enjoy nature on. After the coffee farm tour, we shall visit a kiosk that deals with a traditional nutricious porridge made with cassava, groundnuts, milk, oat. And honey for sweetness. This is if the team agrees. but i promise its a treat.
Hello, I am patrick and i am a professional photographer. Over and above that, i am simply a lover of coffee. I grew up near a coffee farm and its amazing getting the privilege help others experience my love for coffee. Especially going into the farm and getting to see the whole process, from picking, drying , roasting, grading and blending. I can also smell the coffee just by writing about it.
Once from the farm. I will take you for a true taste of traditional porridge.
Tickets for the farm tour.
I will be using a car for the travel to and from the farm experience.
The coffee farm, is located in Kiambu A town not far from Nairobi as explained. The best part about the farm is that once you are in, it looks nothing like the surrounding, its all natural and beautiful. The porridge place has a rustic interior made with raw wood you can still feel the see the back of the tree it came from. And porridge is served from calabashes.
