I will welcome you with a glass of organic wine or a cup of herbal tea, so we can make a warm introduction :) Then we will start to cook a complete vegetarian meal together, using only ingredients (organic for the most part) from local producers, and always keeping in mind the italian tradition. For seasonal flavors are always best, the menu shall vary with the time of the year, so I invite you to ask me for a possible menu, your own suggestions are also very welcome! An example of spring menu: fava-bean cream and sautéed rocket salad, eggplant caponata and tuscan cantuccio biscuit. An example of summer menu: tuscan pappa al pomodoro (bread tomato soup with basil), lasagna with pesto and walnuts, and fruit salad! Finally we will enjoy our perfect dinner all together, with a little bit more wine :)
I'm a 15 years-experienced chef, I studied in a culinary school in France, worked there for 10 years before I decided to settle in Italy, my country of heart ❤️ so I could learn to cook the most delicious italian dishes... I have now acquired a certain knowledge on italian cuisine, which I'd like to share with you, combined with an other interest of mine: sustainable healthy food!
Our cooking experience will take place in our amazing wine cellar in the heart of Florence, close to the Duomo, in a historic building which once was the house of the great Renaissance artist Benvenuto Cellini!
