We will walk around a number of handpicked arts and crafts design shops in downtown Mexico City. You will approach downtown culture through the eyes of a local and see truly Mexican shops. My intention is to take you on an enjoyable journey through these amazing shops and learn the history behind them. Throughout the excursion, I will tell you fun facts and stories about each of the stores we visit. A note on shopping: this experience includes shops that display a variety of products ranging from really cheap items to some more pricey products. The rule is, if you like it, get it. But if not, I'm sure that everything you will see will be just as valuable. I have for you a beautiful shopping bag that you can carry your things around and also keep as a souvenir!
I love shopping. But I also love the fact that I can help my local economy, and independent designers prosper. I study culture and arts management, so I can also tell you about what else you can do downtown if you like cultural experiences. I love traveling and have visited more than 50 cities around the world. I'm passionate about different cultures and languages. I consider myself very friendly and outgoing, and I will be very pleased to show you my favorite places around downtown.

We will begin in a very old candy shop. Then we will go to a fancy market of Mexican design that houses a delicious chocolate shop that you'll enjoy a lot. We will stop by a very traditional crafts shop with a large variety of knickknacks. Then we'll visit a traditional but non-touristy artisan market. We'll finish in a Mexican talent bazaar.

All the stores on our itinerary are very close to one another, so we will avoid extensive walking distances and have a smooth, seamless shopping experience.
