If you are looking to have a local experience in Korea's oldest traditional market, come and join me. We'll meet at the station and before we jump into the Gwangjang Market, we'll walk along Cheonggyecheon—Seoul's beautiful stream. Gwangjang is a famous market where you can find all different kinds of traditional, local Korean street food. I will take you to my favorite stores to show and recommend the best street foods from my local perspective. The market is also the place to be if you'd like to buy local souvenirs.
When I was a kid, I lived in a suburban area that had a huge, old market where my grandma used to work. From that point, the market became a part of my life—something that continues to this day. That's why I think traveling to a local market is one of the best ways to deeply understand a local culture. I love to travel and meet new people from all around the world. And I like to share my passion for my city and my culture. Let's enjoy and explore it together.
