SUP (stand up paddleboard) yoga is a great way to spend time getting fit and enjoying the lake at the same time. We will create the best lesson based on your skills, confidence level, and comfort on the water. We'll pick a beach that works for everyone, then we'll start with a short introduction covering basic paddle skills and SUP safety on the beach. We'll then paddle to a quiet spot and do approximately 45 minutes of yoga/fitness. You'll have some free time at the end for playing around. No experience needed, but you must be a strong swimmer and feel comfortable on the water.
I am a self described stand up paddleboard geek who loves getting people out on the water; learning, experiencing, and enjoying this beautiful place I call home! I'm also a certified yoga instructor and believe combining the two disciplines create a strong foundation for paddle boarding. I'm certified through Paddle Canada and the Yoga Alliance and have 5 years of instruction under my belt.
