Welcome to the only experience on Airbnb that asks the question “is a hotdog a sandwich?”.
Create a delicious New York style sandwich together with your fellow sandwich fans during this fun and unique cooking class. During the Masterclass we will learn tips and tricks to make your sandwiches taste amazing, and also make your sandwich photos look incredible too. Check out @a_man_and_his_sandwich for your sandwich inspiration!
We will chat about our favorite sandwiches, learn about the fascinating history of ingredients between bread, and debate whether a hotdog, a burger or a taco can be considered a sandwich – prepare yourself for the lively debate!

- This was SO MUCH FUN! Ben is an amazing and fun host and the sandwich was delish. This is a perfect low-key date night or great way to connect with long distance loved ones. Have already recommended this class to all my friends and started daydreaming about a post-Covid trip to NYC to take Ben’s tour in person.
- Ben's online sandwich class was excellent. We signed up just for a little fun quarantine experience, but it totally exceeded expectations. Thought-provoking conversations, interesting sandwich history education, lessons on the balance of flavors, pro photo tips, and Ben's inviting personality made the hour an absolute treat. We'll be excited to take his walking tour when NYC in-person life opens back up.
