We are students and feminist guides who are political activists. We wish to empower individuals and help them make sense of what feminism and gender-related issues are all about - but always in a fun way ! We are native Parisians and truly love street art in our city: this experience is a combination of two passions, and we are waiting for you to bring them to life! For more information about Feminists of Paris, visit our Facebook page Feminists of Paris or our Instagram @feministsofparis
The tour is a one mile route through the curvy passages and paved lanes of the Butte-aux-Cailles. This historical Parisian neighbourhood has conserved its unique village aspect, despite its being in central Paris. Small shopkeepers and independent bars cohabit with a diversity of individuals, in a spirit of community and solidarity. It has a vivacious artistic and political scene that takes on the streets for each and everyone to admire.
Bring your camera with you as there are many beautiful and edgy shots to be taken during the tour! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the streets of the Butte-aux-Cailles are paved.
