"Everything profound loves a disguise" is a group activity for people interested in diving in the contemporary art world. We visit contemporary art exhibitions and discuss the content, mixing art history, sociology, politics, philosophy, and other knowledge, opening and broadening the artists, curators or both types of research, while adding content related to the participants´s personal background. The experience opens up as an event to "reflect together" while building a plot collaboratively. It works as an alternative to the traditional guided tour. It is aimed to joyfully overcome prejudices that the contemporary art world may project on us. Its objective is to use artworks as points of departure for personal creative analysis. Departing from this aim and objective, we´ll activate unconscious knowledge to fuel the experience of thinking, feeling and learning together. Heterogeneous backgrounds are encouraged for boosting the collective experience. We will visit a number of renowned art institutions as well as private galleries and independent spaces in Buenos Aires, in accordance with participants´ interests.
