I recommend this experience those who want to meet a local FRIEND while having dinner (or lunch) for different purposes: having a nice chat, get my best tips about the city, having lunch/dinner in good company rather alone, eating something simple but delicious, practise your Italian...
When I travel alone, I enjoy to spend some time also with locals and love sharing a meal with new friends, so that's why I thought to help other travelers providing my company and knowledge at one of my favorite taverns. It is a traditional "piola" (a kind of informal tavern with only traditional food and cozy atmosphere) for an antipasto (appetizer) and a dish of pasta. You can choose the antipasto and the pasta based on your needs (vegetarian, with meet, etc).
It will be a relaxing and social time, but also useful: being a teacher of Italian for foreigners, you can practice your Italian and ask me whatever you like about Italian culture, lifestyle, etc. I'll be happy to satisfy your curiosity! Also if you want to have a quick stroll around the area, no problem: we will be in the heart of the city!
