The tour will start at the train station of Sintra. Kicking off the tour by explaining what we will do providing a self-designed map for my group. The tour combines a nice hike with a stop for local snacks and drinks, as well as several stops to take pictures. We will visit two monuments, make stops on our way to see art and we will explore some local stores. The tour passes by the local city hall, taking the road volta do duche to the historical center. On the way we will see some street artists and we will pass by the beautiful mourish fountain. In the historical center we will either visit the national palace of Sintra or Quinta da Regaleira, depending on the preference of my guests. We will take little roads through the center to see azulejos and local art. After the guided tour through the first monument we will hike uo to have a little break with drinks and snacks at an arty coffee. From there we will take the road vila sasetti and we will hike up and visit the morish castle. We will take a different way back to visit a beautiful church and some arty spots. I will end the tour close to the train station so my guests can decide what to do after.
I moved to Sintra two years ago and I fell in love with this mystical place on my first day. I am a passionate traveler myself, originally from Germany. I would love to show tourists the most beautiful spots in Sintra with a focus on art and nature. Sintra offers so many interesting monuments that are a must-see, but at the same time there are many beautiful hidden tracks and art pieces that cannot be missed. Being an artist myself I will include self-made art in the tour that relates to Sintra, such as a self-designed map and a self-made souvenir for my clients.
