From Lisbon, we will leave for the famous town of Sintra, where we will enjoy a coffee and some traditional sweets. From there we will continue through the mountain, passing by Castelo dos Mouros and the magnificent Palácio da Pena. We will make a brief stop at Peninha viewpoint, where we can enjoy a beautiful landscape, which stretches from Lisbon to the West coast. We will continue on to the most western point of Europe, Cabo da Roca. From there we will continue on foot to Ursa Beach, one of the most beautiful and wild beaches in Portugal. There we will try different climbing routes, with diferent levels of difficulty, where everyone can explore their limits. Finally, for the less chilly, you can still enjoy a swim in the Atlantic.
I was born and raised in Lisbon, and it was at the age of 15 that I discovered my passion for climbing. In my career as a climber, I represented Portugal in several international competitions and achieved several national titles, but it was always the rock climbing that was my greatest motivation. In the last 18 years I have visited many climbing areas around the world, but it is still in Lisbon where my favourite places are. The blend of the landscape of our mountain ranges with the majestic presence of the Atlantic Ocean creates a unique environment that we never forget.
