Pilates is focusing on building strength, length and flexibility. When we meet I will tell you more about the history of Pilates and why it is good for everyone! We will do 60 minutes class where we will focus on core strength, correct posture and breathing. It is a fullbody workout and maybe you will find muscles you never knew even existed. It will be a fun way to exercise, meet new people and be outside all at the same time. Can't wait to move with you!!
About me: my name is Amalie, I was born in Denmark and moved to Sydney in August 2017. In 2012 I completed a 3-year-professional dance education in Germany, Munich. I did my BASI Pilates certificate for Mat & equipment Germany. Pilates is for me the perfect combination of movement, technique, body awareness and a great way to strengthen the body.
Tamarama beach is beautiful, rough and surrounded by high cliffs. If you are a visitor or a resident you should definitely visit Tamarama Beach and experience Sydney from a new angle! You can even combine Pilates with one of the famous Cliffwalks. Start from Tamarama and walk either to Bondi or to Coogee.
Bring your own Mat or if you prefer you can bring a towel instead. I recommend to jump in the ocean after class so do not forget your swimwear, sunscreen and buy your morning coffee at the cafe!
