Mealsurfing is an innovative idea that was created as an alternative to the typical restaurant. It is a new gourmet style, in which diners look for a unique experience. In mealsurfing you go to go to your hosts private home, where you will try traditional, local cuisine, as well as learn how to make some delicious local dishes. That means one thing: you are a curious traveler and a food lover. Nobody wants to be a tourist, the real aim is to be a traveler and the real traveler avoids conventional plans and crowded restaurants that can be found in most guides books, to try to live like locals and eat like them too. THE MENU : Starters: Manchego cheese with nuts and quince Pringá Iberian Ham croquettes Firt course: Salmorejo with iberian ham and boiled eggs. Main course: Iberian cheeks with rosemary potato garnish Dessert: Rice pudding (typical Andalusian dessert) Cafe, tea, spirits. Each dish will be paired with a different wine from the region. If other beverages, such as beer, soda or water are preferred, they will be available instead of wine. I can share my menu at the end of the dinner, so you can make my dishes at home if you wish. If you have any allergies, I would need to know the day before you book.
My name is María Robles and I am a Sevillian, in love with my city and its gastronomy. It was a long time ago when I decided to open the doors of my house and create social relationships around the dining table. My goal is to open my house to anyone who travels to Seville from anywhere in the world and give them the opportunity to have the experience of getting to know each other by sharing dinner, to make new friends and enjoy the authentic Spanish cuisine. At the same time I guide you through all the cultural and gastronomic sites that you should visit in the days you spend in Seville. Having more than twenty years experience in the hospitality industry and deep knowledge of traditional Mediterranean cuisine, my fundamental premise is to take maximum care of the quality of products and excellence in service.
I am going to prepare and offer you a series of typical dishes of the Andalusian gastronomy, all made by hand with fresh…

The dinner will take place in a typical Sevillian house, listed by the City Council as a cultural and protected heritage. It was built by the famous architect, Anibal Gonzalez, main reference of the Sevillian regionalist architecture and a Architect Director of the Iberoamerican exhibition of 1929. If the weather is in our favor, then the events will be carried out on the porch, with candlelights and smell of orange blossom.
