You'll learn to make two different sourdough breads from scratch (mixing ingredients) all the way to baking and to going home with your freshly baked breads! We will cover topics such as What is Gluten, Where is flour coming from? How to use ingredients, and we'll give you some tricks for baking at home, etc. We will show you the bakery and explain the daily routine of making our sourdough breads, and you will refresh you own starter, which you will take home to use again and again, together with a booklet with all recipes and a tote bag to carry all your goodies!
With a background in graphic design but no professional bread making experience, I started TODAY BREAD in a spare room at home and worked day and night to make it into a busy commercial bakery. Started from scratch, i have developed it slowly and organically to learn the trade by making mistakes (oh yes!). Looking forward to share all the ins and outs of sourdough bread making!
