The first of a series of contemporary kitchen hangouts by @French.Chef.Gone.Veg, where health & ethics-aware foodie tourists, as well as partners & family, will find their niche. In the spirit of a friendly gathering French style, we will be delighted to welcome you into our picturesque Parisian home for "Apéro" time turned dinner...with a plant-based twist. You'll see, the French have mastered the "art de vivre"; being Apéro time (short for “l'apéritif”, a pre-dinner drink culturally present since the Middle Ages) one of the moments we most enjoy sharing--almost religiously. Join us, and together we will pick up our bread for the evening in one of Paris's oldest bakeries, as well as some fresh herbs in a traditional French market. We will then cook, and show you how to compose your own plant-based Apéro platter and menu, for you to take these "expertises" home--several entrées, a plant-based fondue, & reinvented French desserts; this menu is to severely reckon with ! Allow us to guide you through French gastronomical history with a contemporary health twist, as we dine, drink, and tell the tales of a nation who's food has inspired the hearts (and bellies) of so many.

We will begin our foodie historical tour, meeting at 18h00 (apéro style), in the Montorgueil market in front of one of Paris's oldest "boulangeries" to pick up our bread for the evening. From here, we will pick up some fresh herbs and then welcome you into our home--an atypical property in the heart of Paris, designed as a four story Tower--where the cook out ought to begin.
