Students will be hosted by the owners of Tea Zaanti, Scott and Becky Lyttle. Upon arrival they will be greeted with fresh house-made scones and their choice of a cup of tea. Scott will provide an overview of the tea industry and the amazing health benefits of tea before he guides students through their blending experience. The morning will be spent blending, brewing, tasting and adjusting their blend until they get it just right. At the end of class they will fill their own tin, name their blend and seal it up with a custom label. Throughout the morning, if the shop isn't too busy, Becky will pop in and share other ways she incorporates tea into baking, cooking and her specialty - tea cocktails! After class students will receive a 10% discount to use in store. Classes are small and intimate, capped at 8 people. We are also happy to schedule this experience at the date and time of your choosing with a minimum group of 4 people and 48 hours notice, just send as an inquiry.
Becky & Scott
Scott and I bought Tea Zaanti in February 2017. We had always been tea drinkers, but had no idea there was so much to learn about this amazing beverage! We love being small business owners and introducing people to the world of tea (or continuing to feed their passion). The shop is our outlet to connect with people and provide a welcoming space for our community.
Scone or GF Toast
You will be hosted inside our locally owned business, Tea Zaanti. Parking is available in the alley behind the house and on the street (just not directly in front of the shop - that's a bus stop!).
