I'll take you to the insider stores, boutiques, and I know some secondhand stores (Vintage consignment stores) that Parisians love to shop in Le Marais—the neighbourhood where the chicest and trendiest Parisians go. While we're there, you can browse and shop while I help you find what you are searching for. There are so many stores, it can be dizzying to try to figure out which ones are worth a visit. Don't worry though, I have a curated list of the ones Parisians love to shop in. Please read for clarification: Vintage/consignment stores in Paris are stores that house vintage designer wear like Chanel, Dior, Versace etc. Therefore the price is still quite high. It's very different to what “thrift stores” are in the U.S. and Canada. This experience is a mid to high price range exploring boutiques in Le Marais, which isn't a good place to do budget shopping. In Parisian boutiques the clothing items are unique and of very good quality. Even though, during sales we can find good deals ;)
I was raised in Bangkok, Thailand, and have been blessed to travel and live in other parts of Asia, America, and now Paris. I've always loved fashion and personal style, but discovered my true passion for it when my social media accounts quickly gained a large following due to my fashion styling tips and trends. I am a Fashion Stylist for 4.5 years now. I've worked on photoshoots and have collaborated with amazing photographers, models, and make-up and hair artists as well as working one-on-one personally with clients as their personal stylist/shopper. My favourite pastimes include shopping—especially with friends—and exchanging opinions on fashion, art, and culture, and travel. Seeing the fashion and styles in different cities is so much fun. Map You will receive a map of Le Marais with the stores we are going to visit highlighted, in case you ever want to come…
Le Marais is known for being the place where the chicest and trendiest of Parisians roam—fashion icons and models can be spotted all over it during Paris Fashion Week. There are so many stores, it can be dizzying to try to figure out which ones are worth a visit. I have a curated list of the ones Parisians love to shop in. Also, we are in close proximity to République. A historical square with restaurants, cafes, shops surrounding it.
Be sure to wear great walking shoes. Parisians walk a lot and Le Marais is big. Bring a camera if you wish to record your experience, sunglasses if it's sunny, and a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
