We'll be making seasonal wagashi—nerikiri—using bean paste—anko, sugar, and coloring liquid. We will do this in four parts: making the nerikiri paste, coloring the nerikiri paste, wrapping the anko with the nerikiri paste, and molding it into various shapes. Don't worry, I’ll demonstrate each process for you first. Just relax and enjoy yourself. Finally, you will eat the wagashi that you made and drink Japanese matcha tea (if you don’t like matcha, I’ll also have English tea, coffee, and water).
