In this fun, hands-on, and informative experience, learn how to make your own sushi and leave inspired to make many varieties of sushi at your own home, garnished with flavorful homemade sauces and pickles! We will focus on plant-based ingredients which allows for so many beautiful and colorful combinations. Ingredients are vegan, gluten-free, and organic whenever possible! You can expect to learn: -How to make perfect sushi rice (without sugar!) -Proper cutting of veggies and other fillings -Making different kinds of rolls (inside-out rolls, nigiri, hand rolls, and more) -How to slice rolls neatly -Plating and presentation using a variety of sauces, herbs, and other garnishes The hands-on portion of the experience will take place around a counter-height farmhouse table where everyone can see Chef Rachel's demo of each step. Afterwards, we will sit down together to enjoy our own plates of handmade sushi. Everyone goes home with recipes to try at home!

We will gather in Chef Rachel's kitchen/cooking workshop around an 8-foot farmhouse table and will pick fresh herbs from the garden.
