First, we'll introduce ourselves with Korean mixed coffees and snacks and get to know each other, which is always nice. You will learn about the structure of perfume and which scent is the best for you. You'll smell about 10 scents based on the oriental zodiac and choose some of your favorites. We will share our feelings as we take in the different scents and also learn information about personalities, lucky numbers by zodiac, and more. You will make three different scents and they will be completed as scented sachet bags. These bags will be Korean traditional ones called Bokjumeoni—lucky bags—and they will make a good souvenir.
I'm a scent designer living in Seoul. I used to work at a hotel, but I was so into perfume, I quit my job and started studying scent in 2016. I've been teaching how to make perfume and non-alcohol diffusers for a couple of years. I love traveling and meeting new people. I've stayed in both Germany and Australia for about a year, and I've traveled to many countries in Europe and Asia. I like and am able to understand a variety of cultures—and I'd like to meet you.
We'll be in Seongsan-dong near Hongdae, which is the hottest spot in Seoul with lots of cafes, restaurants, and shops. We'll be three bus stops from Exit 1 at Hongdae-ipgu Station, also known as Hongik University Station.
