Excellent circular walk (over moorland) close to the village of Lumbutts. If required; You are picked up from the train station (a short drive to the start of the walk). Train arrives at 11:04am at Walsden train station from Manchester Victoria. There is an 'option' to have a morning coffee/tea and use the rest rooms (toilets) in a cosy quintessential English Inn. One non-alcoholic "pub" drink is included in the price when booking. One hot drink is provided on the walk as I bring a stove/flask. Walking up to enjoy the views over West Yorkshire from the Stoodley Pike Monument and across the moors to a tarn. Along the way short mediations are created to observe and connect with nature (time for quite reflection). A perfect place for a picnic lunch is taken. Guidance into meditation practice is offered to suit every level ~ for example: sitting and observing the breath, walking-grounding mediation, self-healing (visualisation) meditations. The train station is close to the garden centre 'Gordon Riggs' so it may be possible to visit here before boarding a train. Use the rest rooms. Some guests with cars may wish to meet up at the village named above.
