The walk begins at 410 metres and is 12.5 km's in length with a total elevation gain of 550 metres. You should be prepared to walk 4 to 5 Hrs. We will walk on the ridge of the mountains that bisect the Dingle peninsula from here you will be able to see both sides of the peninsula at the same time. We will walk across Bogland on to the ridge and above some of the wildest lands in the peninsula above Coumanare lakes and the stunning Coum of Pedlars lake. We will also have great views of the Conor Pass valley and Mount Brandon along the way. The walk is mountain terrain and you should be able to cope with boggy ground at times and some moderately steep climbs. Along the way we will see interesting rock formations and beautiful peat landscape. We will also be able to see stunning views of Dingle harbour and Bay. The walk route is sometimes subject to fog etc so I will still do walk regardless of weather. I still enjoy the fog etc. You should bear this in mind as any the views I list above can of course be obscured by fog on any occasion. If you like this experience but the scheduled time and date does not suit, please message me and we might be able to schedule a time that does.

I have been exploring these hills all my life in wind, rain and the sunshine and never tire of its beautiful landscape, magical nature and history.
