I will show you some belly dance attires that you can borrow and wear during the class. Please let me know your bra and hip size beforehand so that I can better prepare the costume. We can take few snapshots before the class so that everyone still looks fresh and not sweaty. :) CLASS (1 hour): We will start with a warm up, a little bit of yoga and body stretching, as well as some strengthening exercises. Then I will introduce you to the correct posture of belly dance so that you will not experience pain or injury while dancing. I will lend you a hip scarf as the basic attire in belly dance practice. We will then practise and drill hip fundamentals, rib cage isolation, arm waves and many other basic knowledge of belly dance. I will see how well the students take these exercises and can move faster if I feel the students can take it. In the end, I will give a short choreography or combination; where we will take video of how you do. I will share this video with you immediately after the class.
I have been belly dancing (tribal fusion style) since 2012. I am very passionate at learning and at times I would challenge myself joining belly dance competitions. In 2015 I was crowned as the first Miss Tribal Belly Dance Indonesia. Since then I have never stopped learning and sharing my dancing experience with whoever is interested in learning this beautiful art of dance.
