A typical day at Amor y Canela will include a coffee and pastry welcome. After that, we will give an introduction of the menu and its history before getting right into the preparation of the menu. Some classes, like the local regional, will include a trip to the 'mercado' (local farmer's market) for ingredients well. Surrounded in a lovely tropical setting, we will prepare the meal together, learning both technique and tradition but most importantly, having fun in the kitchen. We love to get people cooking. When it's ready, we move to the formal dining room for the most important part, eating! Guests take home a copy of the recipes, an apron, and a new friendship with a chef.
