This easy-going ride is best for those looking to explore beyond the downtown core and deeper into the hip multicultural neighbourhoods Toronto is famous for. I've designed it to feel like a casual ride with a local friend. We even keep the groups sizes small for a more intimate, personalized experience. Get a feel for the local lifestyle of Toronto's west side and discover why Canada's largest metropolis is such a livable city. See tons of street art, park after park, and unique homes & apartments. We ride the waterfront for beautiful lake views, see home hidden beaches (yay summer!), and quiet streets & lanes. If you've never taken a bike tour before, you are more than welcome. We stop every 10-15 min or so to hear local stories & info, check out public art, or snap photos. We'll take a break along the way and offer you a coffee, craft beer, or other non alcoholic refreshment. On nice days we can even enjoy our drinks in a chill park called Dufferin Grove. Everyone has been loving our Norco Scene bikes - they are super comfortable and so much fun to ride - this is now my own personal bike to ride around Toronto! You are definitely going to discover many spots to return to: cafes, eateries, and night spots you will want to return to. We can see so much on a bike in a short time.
We'll stop for a refreshment on us - depending on the weather and the desires of the group, it will be ONE of the following:…
Comfy quality Bicycle You'll love riding these Norco Scene bikes with wide tires! Nice helmets are included as well.

I believe the best way to discover a city is on a bicycle - that's why I founded my company 'Fitz Tours' 10 years ago to show visitors & also locals around! You can see more of Toronto in less time on a bike, and its a wonderfully fun place to ride : ) If you aren't riding with me you'll be with Nathan, Victoria, or Carlos, and you will most likely meet my dad Dan at the bike shop while getting setup. We all adore meeting travellers from around the world and showing what we love most about Toronto. Together we'll experience the city in the most authentic way possible by bike, and have some great chats along the way : )
Toronto's west side Highlights! We begin in The Annex and cross Little Portugal and Little Italy to arrive at the hip yet family friendly Trinity Bellwoods Park. Down on the Waterfront, we ride a loop of the new local-favourite Trillium Park, then explore Ontario Place: a former theme park built on 3 artificial islands. Next are re-developed factories of Liberty Village, West Queen West, Ossington Ave, and either a bike cafe or craft Brewery!
Arrive 15-20 min before the start of the tour to get setup on your bike. As long as you know how to ride a bike and are comfortable doing so in an urban environment, you'll be fine! No flip flops : )
