I'd be pleased to introduce you to the Neapolitan soul driving you through the flavours, colours and emotions of the traditional cuisine. We will be walking across the local market of Pignasecca to choose the ingredients and shop for our class. Than we will go to my kitchen to prepare a full traditional fish meal. We will cook together , spaghetti with clams and fresh fish "Acqua pazza". Then we will enjoy what we cooked having dinner together. With the meal we will drink local wine. I'll teach you the the basic principal of our cuisine and how to combine the ingredients with simplicity and elegance, for you to bring back home the flavor and the soul of Neapolitan food culture!
I'm a chef, cooking professionally for over 10 years, and i love to teach and to cook with other people. I cooked in Italy and a broad, in famous restaurants and now i'm about to open my own restaurant near Naples. I also taught in a cooking school in the past years. I'm vary passionate about my city, Napoli, and about the neapolitan food culture and i love to transfer to others the true sense of the Neapolitan cuisine.
Fish dinner with wine
We will visit the traditional old market of Pignasecca, in the old neighborhood of Montesanto, where my mother was born, to get the ingredients we will need. Then we will go to my apartment, that was of my grand parents, to cook some traditional and tasty fish plate and have dinner together.
