In the Campo dei Fiori area, the oldest neighborhood market in the city, we will find jewels, clothes and accessories that are unique hand made pieces. We will also stop in a small atelier specialized in tailored bras and underwear, in Largo Argentina, where was killed the roman console and dictator Giulio Cesare. Walking along the picturesque alleys of the neighbourhood, we will reach the boutique – laboratory of two young women architects who create very special leather bags and accessories. For the gourmets they will only be the choice between the best products: Parma ham, parmigiano reggiano, the finest Sicilian chocolates, refined wines…. For those of you who are looking for a special event dress we will visit a fashion studio in the Rione Monti whose slogan is “one size fits none”. Here there is the dress that must adapt to the body and not vice versa. So increase or reduce a neckline, cover or show off the arms, emphasize the waistline or mask it: all this will be possible, with the seamstress available, in a few changes that will allow you to buy at the end, at a fair price, a dress practically "made-to-measure”.
I was, for many years, the Managing Director of “Piazza Italia”, the international journal of the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade. A "showcase" of fashion, design, jewelry and "made in Italy" food. What I propose is an afternoon of full immersion in the real essence of made in Italy. I’ll take you in small artisan shops where you can choose refined and tailored clothes and accessories like shoes and bags. But also painted ceramics, Murano glass, and fantastic food of high quality. The final step? A cappuccino in a bar or lounges overlooking the magnificent rooftops of Rome.
Full of charme and history, Campo de 'Fiori is one of the most famous squares in Rome. It has a double soul: in the morning it is a local market, in the evening it is the heart of roman "movida". Rione Monti is the district of art galleries and wineries. It borders with the Rome of the Fori Imperiali and the Esquilino district. A few steps from the neighborhood is the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli which houses the Michelangelo's Moses

There are two main paths of design and crafts that I propose which have an average duration of three hours starting from my holiday home. Food, drinks and means of transport are not included.
