We have inherited the art of Sunday lunches from our 85y/old grandma Caterina, a true treasure of knowledge about the Sicilian traditional cuisine. There is no recipe book that can substitute her tricks! She used to make pasta for necessity when she was just 10 years old, and we have learned how to make pasta with her since we were children! She also taught us several dishes, typical of the Sicilian poor cuisine tradition, so we’ll take you to a century-long journey of Sicilian culinary secrets! We will show you our typical Sicilian Sunday lunch at grandma’s: a moment of sharing of our weekly experiences and knowledge, in which we keep learning from the pillar of the family, our wise Nonna. We will share with you a moment when food is not only shared with family, IT IS FAMILY. We will show you every step of our recipes, generations old. Together, we will prepare fresh local appetizers, real "maccheroni" pasta (a type of long pasta which perfectly fits our special, anti-diet meat sauce!), meat and plant-based main dishes and we’ll drink local wine! You will get endless tricks to replicate our dishes to perfection, enjoying the feeling of a Sicilian family’s Sunday lunch!

I learn from her how to make the real Pasta when i was a child, doing with her every step, I've been making pasta with her for 15 years and togheter with her we'll teach you 60 years of secrets in doing Pasta from eggs and flour. She learned how make pasta when she was 10y. old, by necessity, and for 75 years she did it, and keeps doing it today, from the times of the war up to the times of airbnb. I travelled a lot in Italy to learn Pasta's secrets.
