I own a traditional, family-run Herb Farm located in Kranji - an oasis far from the urban jungle of metropolitan Singapore. I will share some interesting facts about the plants and their uses . Visitors will be able to touch, smell and taste some of the fruits and herbs & spices. I have more than 10 years of experience in planting blooms of paniculate spot flower plant, moringa plant, lemon grass, mint, including rare species such as lemon myrtle and lemon verbena etc. Some plants have medicinal properties and are used for treating ailments such as high blood pressure etc
The potting workshop will be conducted at a quaint little shack. All the necessary tools and ingredients will be provided. This type of rustic environment is disappearing rapidly in urban Singapore. Catch it before it is gone!!
The tour will be conducted entirely outdoors with exposure to harsh sunlight. Guests who are not able to tolerate the tropical heat are advised not to take up this tour
