The trail run/walk is suitable for all runners/walkers of fitness levels. Some parts can be very technical and challenging covering up up to 21km. After the run/walk participants can enjoy refreshments and a light meal in my garden overlooking the trails. This experience is suitable for active people who love to exercise and keep fit, particularly visiting runners and walkers who are looking to exercise while on a business or holiday trip in Johannesburg.
I am a member of Fat Cats Athletics Club one of the fastest growing social clubs in South Africa. In 2017 I started Fat Cats Trail Run to focus on trail running and enjoying the outdoors and nature. My home is located in the south of Johannesburg close to trails that offer an amazing running experience in the city that feels like one is in the country. My running group and I call these trails The Koppies (which simply means the Hills in Afrikaans). The trails lead to a Klip River 4-5km form my house, along the trails one will come across grazing cows, goats and sheep from the farms in the area
Soft drinks, light meal and snacks post the activity.
On the trail run/walk you will meet African traditional healers while they are out to harvest traditional herbs for healing various sicknesses as well as spiritual healers out to pray and meditate.

This is a running/walking activity so there will be sweating. So you will need to go back to your hotel to take a shower after the activity.
